A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE
SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
TO CONDUCTTHE 1990 SUNSET REVIEW OF THE
SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS
WHEREAS, ordinance 088061, which enacted the Subdivision
Regulations of the 'City of Georgetown, provides that the
Subdivision Regulations Advisory Committee shall meet no less
frequently than annually in the month :of November to conduct the
sunset review of the effect of the Subdivision Regulations and to
recommend revisions to the regulations for the Council's
consideration; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance 890275, which enacted the 1989 sunset
revisions to the Subdivision Regulations; provides that unless
subsequent action extends the application and enforcement of the
regulations, they shall expire on February 28, 1991; and
WHEREAS; the City Council finds that the annual sunset review
and re -adoption of the Subdivision Regulations furthers the
iuplementation of the following Century Plan policies and goals;
Economic Development Policy; Goals 1, 2 and 5; Environmental and
Resource Conservation Policy, Goals 1 and 2; Facilities and
Services Policy, Goal 1; Finance Policy; Goals 1 and 2;
Governmental Affairs Policy, Goals 1 and 2; Growth and Physical
Development Policy, Goals 1 throuth 5,* Historic Preservation and
Urban Design Policy, Goals 1 and 2, Housing Policy, Goal 1;
Recreation and Cultural Affairs Policy, Goal 2; Transportation
Policy, Goals I and 2; utilities/Energy Policy, Goals 11 2, 41 5
and 6;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS THAT;
Section One
All of the facts recited in the preamble to this Resolution are
hereby found by the City Council to be true and correct, and are
incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a part hereof,
as if copied verbatim,

Section Two
1, The following persons are hereby appointed to the Subdivision
Regulations Advisory Committee,
Patty Eason (ektinwn (Chairperson)
Karen Gilbert
Bobby Stanton
Ercel Brashear
Luther Laubach
Bob Schrawger
Ferd Tone
2, The Subdivision Regulations Advisory Committee, assisted by
the City staff, shall conduct the annual review of the
SubdivisionRegulations of the City of Georgetown and shall
make recommendations to the City Council concerning the
revision and re -adoption of the Subdivision Regulations. such
recommendations shall first be presented to the Planning and
Zoning Commission which shall conduct a public hearing on any
proposed revisions prior to making its recommendation to the
City Council. The recommendations of the Committee and the
Commission shall be presented to the City Council not later
than February 12, 1991 to allow for the Council's re -adoption
of the Subdivision Regulations by ordinance on or before
February 28, 1991.
