A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEPNNT NITS THE LOWER
COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY (LORA) FOR INSTITUTION OF AN
ENERGY FITNESS PROGRAR; AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE BY LORA OF
LOANS OR PAYMENT OF REBATES TO THE CITY'S CUSTOMERS WHO
HAVE WEATHERIZED THEIR HOPES AND)OR REPLACED AIR
CONDITIONING [NITS UNDER THE ENERGY FITNESS PROGRAM,
AND AUTHORIZING THEFNYOR TO EXECUTE THE SAD, THE CITY
SECRETARY TO ATTEST AND THE CITY ATTORNEY TO APPROVE AS
TO FORPI"SAID AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Lower Colorado River Authority (LORA) provides
an Energy Fitness Program to its wholesale customers;
WHEREAS, the CityCouncil of the: City of Georgetown, Texas
desires to institute an Energy Fitness Program for its retail
customers; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this action
implements Utilities)Encrgy Policy S or the Century Plan, Policy
Plan Element, and is not found to be. inconsistent or in conflict
with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03
of the Administrative Chapter of the. Policy: Plan..
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COLNCII OF THE
CITY OF GEORGET04iN;. TEXAS, that:
SECTION I.
The Council hereby approves the attached Energy Fitness
Program Agreement with LCRA
SECTION II,
The Council authorizes the Mayorto execute the Agreement
and the City Secretary to attest thereto.
