A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEXAS TREASURY SAFEKEEPING
TRUST COMPANY TO SERVE AS THE CUSTODIAN OF PORTFOLIO
SECURITIES BELONGING TO THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN
WHEREAS, from time to time the City of Georgetown purchases book -
entry securities for its awn investmentportfolio that are
eligible for deposit at a federal reserve bank and desires to
have them safekept ("Portfolio Securities"); and
WHEREAS, the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company desires to
serve as the custodian of Portfolio Securities belonging to the
City of Georgetown;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Georgetown; Texas
SECTION L.
That the City Council approves the Custodian Agreement between
the City of Georgetown )"City") and the Texas Treasury
Safekeeping Trust Company ("Trust Company") providing for the
Trust Company to provide custodial services for securities owned
by City: Such agreement is attached hereto and incorporated
herein as if fully set forth at length.
SECTION II.
That the Mayor is hereby authorised to sign the Custodial
Agreement and the City Secretary to attest thereto.
