A RESOLUTION: APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
GEORGET51, TEXAS AND McCORD ENGINEERING INC,, FOR
ENGINEERINGSERVICES' RELATED TO ELECTRICAL CAPITAL
PROJECTS SYSTEMS CPGRADE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE THE SAME,
ifAEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the major distributor
of electrical utilities within its corporate limits; and
idREREAS, the City Council finds that safe and efficient
distribution of utilities is to to operation of the
City's Public Utilities Department and
WHEREAS, McCord Engineering Inc„ desire-to-enterinto an
agreement for electrical engineering services related to Electrical
Capital ?reject systems upgrade, and authorizing the Mayor: to
execute the same;
S,7IEREAS, the City Councils finds that thisaction implements
Utilities/Energy Policy 3 of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element
and is not found to be inconsistent -or in conflict with any other
Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2,03 of the
Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan,
NOH THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL17D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGET041; TEXAS;
SECTION1, That the City finds that the recitals set
forth above an true and correct and are incorporated herein.
SECTION, II. That the; City Council approves the agreement
between the City of Georgetown, Texas and McCord Engineering Inc.
for engineering services related to the Electrical Capital Project
systems upgrade, in an amount not to exceed $12,000.00, and that
the funding for said project shall be Electrical Capital Project
Account No, 06-91-00.5101, and all backup information is attached
hereto and incorporated herein as if folly set forth at length,
SECTION ill, That the Mayor is hereby apthorieed to execute
the contract documents and City Secretary to attest:
