A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN AGREEMENT EEPdEEN THE CITY OF
GEORGETONN, TEXAS AND FLANAGAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY;
AUTHORIZING CHARGE ORDER NO, I RELATED I0 WASTEWATER
IMPROV'EMENTS'PROIECI AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE SAME,
NHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the major
collector of wastewater within its corporate limits; and
{JHEREAS,the City Council finds that safe and efficient
collection of wastewater is essential to the operation of the
City's Public; Utilities Department; and
WHEREAS, Flanagan Construction Company and the City of
Georgetown desire to enter in to an agreement Change Order No, 1
which consists of a-$14,143,80 increase in the original contract
bid amount to accommodate necessary modifications and complete
the installation and upsizing of the,infa-structure related to
wastewater improvements in the Old Towne area, and authorizing
the Mayor to execute the sate; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this action implements
Utilities/Energy Policy 3 of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element'
and is not found to be inconsistent or in conflict with any other
Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2,03 of the
Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.
NON THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 171E CITY OF
GEOUGETM, TEXAS;
SECTION I. That the City finds that the recitals set
forth above are true and correct and are incorporated herein.
SECTION II, That the City Council approves. Change Order
No, 1 for the Wastewater Improvements Project, Project No. 00373,
00374, and 00375, between the City of Georgetown, Texas and
Flanagan Construction Company, which will be increase to the
original contract bid amount of $19,193:80+and shall be funded
from Sevier Capital Project Account No, 06-04-00-5100, and all
backup information attached hereto and incorporated herein as
if fully set forth atlength.
SECTION III, That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
the contract documents and City Secretary to attest,
