A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREENENT
BETWEEN RE "CITY OF GEORGETOZ, TEXAS AND STEGER AND BIZZELL
INC„ AUTHORIZING ENGINEERINGjCONSGLTING SERVICES RELATED
TO OLD TOM SEWER REHABILITATION PROSECT, IN COORDINATION
WITH THE COIMIUNITY DEVELOPMENT 2DXT PROCESS; AND AUTHORIZING
AND AUTHORIZING THE Ph1YOR TO EXECUTE THE NAME.
SHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the major collector
of wastewater within its corporate limits; and
WEREAS, the City Council finds that safe and efficient
collection of wastewater is essential to the operation of the
City's Public Utilities Department; and
NHEREAS, Steger and Bizzell Inc„ desire to enter into an
agreement of engiueeringlconsulting services; related to the Old
Towne Sewer Rehabilitation Project, and COCO Grant process, and
authorizing the Playor to execute the sate
TNEREAS, the City Council has found that this action
implements Utilities/Energy Policy 3 of the Century Plan, Policy
Plan Element; and is not found to be inconsistent or in conflict
with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section ME
of the Administrative Chapter of the PolicyPlan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEX CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS;
SECTION I. That the City Council finds the recitals set
forth above are true and correct and are incorporated herein,
SECTION IT, Ihat the City Council approves the agrement
between the City of Georgetown, Texas and Steger and Bissell, The,,
for engineering/ consulting services related to the Old Tontine Seidel
Rehabilitation Project and in coordination with the CAYCO Grant
process funded out of SpecialRevenue Funds, and all backup
information is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if fully
set forth at length,
SECTION ELI; That the layor is hereby authorized to execute
the contract documents and City Secretary to attest,
PASSED AND APPROVED "this day of 1990.
