A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PRO -TEM TO SIGN A
CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN
AND RABBIT HILL ROAD JOINT VENTURE FOR THE EXTENSION OF
WATER ANDWASTEWATER LINES ALONG THE SOUTH INTERSTATE
HIGHWAY 75 CORRIDOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has obtained a grant through
the Texas Capital Fund for the extension of water and wastewater
lines to Advanced Custom Molders, Inc,; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to construct the lines of
sufficient size to allow developmentwithin the drainage basin;
and
WHEREAS, the City must look to property owners within the
drainage basin to assist in the financing of the utility line
extension; and
{WHEREAS, the City is able to offer guaranteed capacity for
participation in the financing and
WHEREAS, Rabbit Hill Road Joint Venture owns land within the
drainage basin, and is interested in participating in the
financial costs of extending the utility lines,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT;
Section I. The City Council adopts the recitals set forth above
as true and correct and adopted herein verbatim as; if fully set
forth at length.
Section II, The City Council authorizes the Mayor Pro -Tem to
execute and the City Secretary to attest the contract as
attached, between the City of Georgetown and Rabbit Hill Road
Joint venture,
