HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 900221 - Oak Crest Wastewater ProjectRESOLUTION No, gi00GGA1 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEPMNT BETNEEN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS AND CAMP, DRESSER AND McKEE INCORPORATED, AUTNORIZIM DESIGN AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS RELATED TO THE OAKCREST NASTEVATER PROSECT, ANN AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE SANE; NHEREAS, the City of Georgetolm, Texas is the major collector Of Wastewater within its corporate limits; and IMREAS, the City Council finds that safe and efficient Collection and treatment of wastesater -is essential to the operation of the Crh's Public Utilities Department; and WHEREAS, Camp, Dresser and McKee Inca desire to enter into an agreement for design and preparations of plans and specifications related to the Oak Crest Nastewater Project, and authorizing Phe. Mayor to execute the same; W9tEREAS, the City Council has found that this action inplements Utilities/Energy Policy 3 Of the Century Plan, Policy Plan Element, and is not found to be inconsistent or in conflict lith any other Century ?Ion POIJuies, as required by Section 2,03 of the Administrative Chapter Of the Policy Plan, NOW THEREFORE, BE TI RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 'CITY 'OF GEORGETOWNN TEXAS, SECTION I, That the City Council finds that the recitals set forth above are true and correct and are incorporated herein, SECTION II That the City Council approves the agreement between the City of Georgetown, Texas and Camp, Dresser and McKee - Inc., for design and preparation of specifications related to the Oak Crest Wastewater Project, and that the funding source for this Project shall be Account No, 05-04-00-5100; and cost of engineering services is not to exceed $14,500-00, and all backup information is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if fully.set: forth at length, SECTION III.
