A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN ENGINEERING PLAN DEVELOPED
IN CONJUNCTION WITH CITY STAFF AND SIEGER AND BIZZEEE,
FOR SUBMITTAL TO THE TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT BOARD, RELATED
TO THE DOVE SPRINGS WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY, LID
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the major
collector ok wastewater within its corporate limits; and
'WHEREAS,. the City .Council finds that safe and :efficient
collection of wastewater is to the operation of the
City's Public Utilities Department; and
WHEREAS, The City of Geofgetmon and Steger and Bissell
recommend aproval of the engineering plan to be submitted to the
Texas Eater Development: Board, related to the Dove Springs
Wastewater Treatment FacilityProject, and authorizing the Magor to
execute the same; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this action implements
Utilities/Euergy Policy 3 of the Century Plant - Policy Plan
Element and isnot found to be inconsistent or in conflict with
any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 4,03 of the
Administrative Chapter of>the Policy Plan.
N1W' THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS;
Section I. That the City finds the recitals set forth
above are true and correct and are incorporated penin.
Section II. That the City Council approves the solected
alternative recommended: bythe ::State Revolving, Loan: Fund.
engineering plan developed in conjunction with City Staff and
Steger and Bissell to be submitted to the Texas Eater Development
Board, related to the Dove Springs Wastewater Treatment Facility,
and all backup information attached hereto and incorporated herein
as, if fully set forth At length,
Section III. That ±the :Mayor is hereby authorized to. execute
thecontract documents and City Secretary to attest,
