A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A BUDGET "TRANSFER FROM GENERAL
FUND COUNCIL CONTINGENCY TO FIRE SERVICES DIVISION
CAPITAL OUTLAY,
WHEREAS; The City Council of the City of Georgetown recognizes
the need for a Breathing Air Compressor System to be used by the
Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges the $4,000.00 purchase
of a Breathing Air Compressor System by the Volunteer Fire
Department with their own funds; and
WHEREAS; the City Council wishes to assist in having the
Breathing Air Compressor System installed and operational within
this fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOiiN, TEXAS:
SECTION 1,
That the City Council finds that the recitals set forth above are
true and correct and are adopted herein verbatim as if fully set
forth at length,
SECTION IT,
That the sun of $3,500is authorized to be transferred from General
Fund Council Contingency to General Fund Fire Department Capital
Outlay (01-50-00-5092) to be used for the installation of the
Breathing Air System,
SECTION III..
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute this Resolution and
the City Secretary to attest,
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a Regular Council Meeting on
this the 13th day of March, 1990,
