A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ENGINEERING AGREEMENT BETNEEN
THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS AND STEGER AND BIZZELL INC,
AUTHORIZING:ENGINEERING/COXSULTIXG SERVICES RELATED TO THE
NORTH 81 -INDUSTRIAL PARK EATER ZINE EXTENSION, AND AUTHORIZING
THE GAYOR>TO"EXECUTE THE SAME,
WTEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the major distributor
of water within its corporate limits; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that safe and efficient
distribution of water is essential to the: operation of the City's
Public Utilities Department; and
IHEREAS, Steger and Bissell Inc„ desire to enter into an
agreement of engineering/consulting services, related to the North
81 -Industrial Park waterline extension, :and authorizing the Mayor
to execute the same;
WEREAS, the City Council has found that this action implements
UtilitiesfEnergy Polrey 3 of the Century Plan, Policy Plan Element;
and Is not found to be inconsistent or in conflict with any other
Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2;03 of the Administrative
Chapter of the Policy Plan,
NOW THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CEORGETOIiN, TEXAS; .. .
Section I, That the City Council finds the recitals set
forth above are true and correct and are incorporated herein,
Section I1, That the City Council approves the agreement
between the City of Georgetown, Texas and Steger and Brazell Inc,,
for engineering/consulting services related to the North 81
-
Industrial Park water line extension, and shall be funded from
blazer Capital Projects No, 06-03.005-102, and all back up information
attached hereto and incorporated herein asiftfully set forth at
length,
Section III, That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the contract documents and City Secretary to attest,
