A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ARI AGREEMENT .BETWEEN THE C17 OF
GEORGETOIOJ;;TEXAS AND ALLCO INC;, AUTHORIZING SERVICES
RELATED TO THE SEWER SYSTDI RENOVATION PROTECT PHASE II
AND III; AND. AUTHORIZING THE M1YOR TO EXECUTE THE SAME,
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the major
collector of wastewater within its corporate limits; and
WHEREAS; the City Council finds that safe and efficient
collection of wastewater is essential tothe operation of the
City's Public Utilities Department; and
IiPEREAS, ALLCO.Inc.,: were the low bidder to this. project
and the City of Georgetova desire to enter into an agreement for
construction services related to the Sewer System Renovation
Project, Phase SI and III - Project No. 00343; and authorizing
the Mayor to execute the same; and
WTEREAS, the City Council finds that this action implements
Ot ilifteB /Energy Policy 3 of the Century Plant . Policy Plan
Element and is not found to be inconsistent or in conflict with
any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2,03 of the
Administrative :Chapter of: the Policy Plan,
NOA TBEREPORE, BE 11 RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWl; TEXAS;
Section I; That the City finds the recitals set forth
above are true and correct: and are incorporated herein.
Section II, That the City Council awards the bid for the
Sewer System Renovation Project, Phase II And 111, Project No,
00343, and approves the agreement between the City of Georgetown,
Texas and ALTON Inc, as the low bidder in theamountof SC18,591;00
and the funding source shall be Sewer System Rehabilitation Phase
I1; Project No, 06-04-005-343 in the amount of 3225;000,00 and
Project No. 06-04-003-031 in the amount of $33;597.00, and all
backup information attached hereto and incorporatedherein as if
Cubic set forth at: length.
Section III. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
the contract documents and City Secretary to attest.
