A RESOLUTION APPROVING IF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
GEORGETNK TEXAS AND STEGER AND BISZELI INC., AUTNORIZING
DESICN OF DECHLORINATION FACILITY AT THE EXISTING WASTEXATER
TREATMENT.: FACILITY, AND AUTHORIZING TEE NAYOR TO EXECUTE. THE
SAME;
arRERE.AS, the City of Georgetown,. Texas is the major, collector
of wastewater within its corporate limits; and
WIEREAS; the City Council finds that safe and efficient
collection and treatment of wastewater is essential to the operation.

agreement .`or design of a dechlorination facility at the existing
Wastewater Treatment Plant, and aathoriamg the Mayor to execute
the same;
h'NEREAS, the City Council has found that this action implements
UtilitiesjEnergy Policy 3 of the Century Plan, Policy Plan Element,
and is not found to be inconsistent or in conflict with any other
Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of tete
Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan,
NOW THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN; TEXAS;
SECTION 1, That the City Council finds that the recitals
set forth above are true and Correct and are incorporated herein.
SECTION 11: That the City Council approves the agreement
between the City of Georgetown, Texas and Steger and Bizzell For
design of the dechlorination facilities at existing Wastewater
Treatment Plant, and that the funding source for this project shall
be from Utility Capital Projects, Project No. 06-04-003036 in an
amount not to exceed $103000.OD, and all backup itineration 1s
attached hereto and incorporated herein as if fully set forth at
length.
SECTION III, That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
the contract documents and City Secretary to attest.
