A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN'S PARTICIPATION
IN THE USE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS CONTRACT 863 TO PURCHASE TIRES &
TUBES FOR THE 1991/92 FISCAL YEAR- AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE SAME, THE CITY SECRETARY TO ATTEST AND THE CITY
ATTORNEY TO APPROVE AS TO FORM SAID AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas pursuant to
the authority granted by Sections 271.081-271.083 Local Government Code,
V.T.C.A6, as amended, desires to participate in described purchasing
programs of the State Purchasing and General Services Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that participation in
these programs will be highly beneficial to the taxpayers of this City,
through the anticipated savings to be realized
NOW, THERE FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT*
The City Council does request the State Purchasing and General Services
Commission to include its stated need for 863 Tires & Tubes on the
Commission's annual contracts for these items, whereby the City may be
allowed to purchase these items from the annual contract
The City Council authorizes and directs Bob Hart, City Manager to sign and
deliver all necessary requests and other documents in connection therewith
for and on behalf of the City of Georgetown
Resolved this 22nd day of October, 1991.
