WHEREAS, the Texas Property Tax Code, Section 6.051, effective January 1, 1988,
permits the acquisition, conveyance, construction or renovation of a building or other
improvements by an Appraisal District, and it requires the approval of the voting taxing
units of such acquisition, conveyance, construction or renovation by the Appraisal District;
and
WHEREAS, after notice from the Chief Appraiser concerning the particulars of t1a
project proposed by the Appraisal District it appears that such project is in the best interes'
of the Appraisal District and the taxing units; I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS. -
That the City Council of the City of Georgetown approves the project proposed by
the Apponcerning the following described real property by Williamson
County Appraisal District:
Glasscock Addition, Block 6, Lot 1) 2, 5, 6, 7, & 8, W PT
LTS 3 & 4, Acres 1. 150
OK"I
That the City Council of the City of Georgetown hereby evidences its approval of
such renovation subject to the City of Georgetown site plan approved July 24, 1990.
