RESOLUTION OF OF
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO SIGN A CONTRACT !CONSTRUCTION,
FORSEWERIMPROVEMENTS AS OUTLINED IN THE
CITY'S 1989 TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
GRANT AWARD,CONTRACT♦
DEPARTMENTCOMMERCE 'C 1 is AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown, Texas is the major collector of
wastewater within its corporate limits, and Conex Construction, Inc. was the low
bidder with a bid of $347,208.50, and TDOC requires that the City award the
construction contract to the lowest bidder; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds safe and efficient collection of wastewater
is essential to the operation of the City's Public Utilities Division, and that the
total TDOC construction funds awarded were $250,000.00 and the City committed
$57,000.00 for a totalof $307,000.00; aadditional $41 0 . 1 of • from
the Water/Sewer budget is hereby committed to this project.

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:

The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Secretary to
attest thereto, a •nex Construction, Inc. for work related to sewer
improvements related to the Old Town Wastewater Improvements on behalf of the
City of Georgetown.
