HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 920450 - Establishment of Permit Feesu,4:1x0j01UVTc Mks C' =�' oil WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Georgetown, Texas, has submitted to the City Council a proposed Annual Operating Plan element ("Plan") of the Century Plan of the revenues of said City and expenses of conducting the affairs thereof and providing a complete financial plan for the ensuing fiscal year, beginning October 1, 1992, and ending September 30, JE, . eel-:Ie&4&R&&! e the several departments and offices of the City; and WHEREAS, said Proposed Plan contains a "Proposal for Local Developm- - r evisions" which describes changes to the City's land development, utility connect, and construction permit fees; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council to revise the City's local development fees; and WHEREAS, the existing local development fees have been repealed by ordinance approved on September 22, 1992. NOW, THEREFORE9 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, I I SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution ar- - - ereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that this resolution implements the following Policies of the Century Plan - P ment: 1. Economic Development Policy 5, which states: "The City will take the appropriate steps to have a self-sustaining economy-" and F. Finance Policy 1, which states: "The City will conduct all municipal operations in an efficient business -like manner." and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative C ter o t e Policy Plan.
