HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 9202871 991 all V :i V41REAS, the City of Georgetown entered into a contract with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to make infrastructure improvements in support of Advanced Custom Molders, Inc. (ACM); and V4MREAS, all infrastructure activities cannot be completed by the contract expiration date of July 29, 1992. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCH, OF THE C1TY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that this resolution ini%,lements Uftilitiesffinerg rt ;Po Plan lementw,,kicb states- "The City will provide water, wastewater, electricity, and solid waste collection services which meet the immediate and future needs of all citizens and which encourages and provides for ectmiG development-" and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan. SECTION 2. The City Council authorizes a contract amendment request to be submitt,1.9 to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for a time extension of contra number 709102 until October 31, 1992. 1 SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Secretary to atte thereto all necessary documents as may be required to initiate and process this contrall amendment request.
