A Resolution of the City Council of Georgetown, Texas approving •! '•a•
Electric Cooperative, Inc. tariff schedule PCA and EIS
WHEREAS, certain residents and businesses within the City of Georgetown are provided
electric utility service by Pedernales Electric Cooperative, Inc.;,and
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has received from Pedernales Electric Cooperative,
Inc. revised tariff Schedules PCS and EIS; and
WHEREAS, implementation of the revised tariff Schedules PCA and EIS will result in
no increase in PEC's revenues;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THIV
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: I
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble o t is res n are
hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and
expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that this
resolution implements Utility/Energy Policy of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element, which
states* "the City will establish utility policies which take into consideration the needs of all the
citizens of the community and which take necessary precautions to prevent harmful ecological
impact on the environment"; and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not
inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of
the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.
SECTION 2. The revised tariff Schedules PCA and EIS submitted by Pedernales Electric
Cooperative, Inc. are hereby approved and will become effective on either May 10, 1992 or the
date on which said tariff revisions filed with the Public Utility Commission of Texas become
effective, whichever is later.

POWER COST ADJUSTMENT
All kilowatt-hours sold will reflect any increases or decreases in
the total cost of power purchased. Monthly billing shall include
an amount per kilowatt-hour to be calculated according to the
formulas set forth below.
Power Cost Adjustment Factor - Non -Interruptible
For all kilowatt-hours sold to members not taking interruptible
service under Schedule EIS, the mGnthly Power Cost Adjustment
Factor will be calculated as follows:

PCAFO Power Cost Adjustment Factor applicable to
members not taking interruptible service.
PCO Monthly cost of power for members not taking
interruptible service, including fuel expense,
which is estimated to be incurred by the
Cooperative during the month in which the
factor is to be applied.
PCCF® = Power Cost Correction Factor associated with
members not taking interruptible service
applied to compensate for prior month's over
or under collection of power costs due to
variance between actual power costs including
fuel and revenues received from application of
the Power Cost Adjustment Factor for non -
interruptible sales (PCAFO) and the Power Cost
Component of base rates'($0.04178/KWH

members not receiving service f rom a wholesale
delivery point receiving interruptible power
during the month in which the factor is to be
applied.

Power Cost Adjustment Factor - Interruptible
For all kilowatt-hours sold to members taking service in whole or
in part under Schedule EIS, Experimental Rider f or Interruptible
Service, the monthly Power Cost Adjustment Factor will be
calculated as follows:
