AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas has determined thm
encouraging economic development is in the best interest of the City; I
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs has approved a
f-oan to Sierra Microwave Technology, Inc., to assist in the relocation of this industry•
Georgetown; and
WHEREAS, in order to finalize the loan, it is necessary for the City to make certa

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution am
hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein a
expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that th
action implements Economic Development Policy 1 of the Century Plan, Policy Plan Eleme
which states- "The City will encourage diversified growth and promote business opportuniti
to create jobs, broaden the tax base and minimize the impact of economic fluctuations", and ti
City Council further finds that this action is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other Centu
