YA wool WHEREAS, the Association of Wholesale Customers (AWC) membership met in Aust and adopted a resolution of participation in the upcoming fuel factor and fuel reconciliation cas before the Public Utilit Commission (PUC); and y I WHEREAS, the AWC position is to continue to support the regulatory treatments agreem to by stipulation in Docket 9427 with respect to these filings after the cases are filed at the PUI NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY" GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: I SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution a hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein a expressly made a part hereot as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that thl resolution implements Utilities/Energy Policy 5 of the Century Plan which states: "wat wastewater electrify, and solid waste collection services meet the immediate and future nee of all citizens and encourage and provide for economic development;" and further finds that t adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Polici as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan. The consultants and attorneys for the Association are authorized to act on behalf of the City to obtain all information necessary and pertinent to the Special Project, to conduct investigations and negotiations, to present evidence and argument, and to otherwise advise and represent the City with respect to the Special Project, under the direction of the Association's Board of Directors; and that the City will pay its share of special assessments for this Special Project that the membership of the Association approves. SECTION 4.
