AN V W.M- V41EREAS, the City of Georgetown had received a request from Bruce and Stella Palmer for a release of a special assessment lien; VIIIEREAS, in 1922 the City Council levied an assessment against Part of Block Lost Addition, and against the real and true owner of said property in 1922, M. F. Smith, to due and payable in four years; I VJIEREAS, the City Council, after hearing the Request and finding the specific facts as stated above, now concludes that Bruce and Stella Palmer be released from the special assessment lien. - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution a-,-, hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein a expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that th resolution implements Growth and Physical Development of the Century Plan - Policy PI Element which states- "The City's regulatory actions will efficiently and effectively impleme the Policy Statements and provide the opportunity to seek change with reasonable effort a expense"; and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in confli with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapt of the Policy Plan. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Secretary to atte thereto a release of special assessment lien with Bruce and Stella Palmer on behalf of the Ci of Georgetown.
