A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF DRAFT
OFFERING DOCUMENTS PREPARED BY FIRST SOUTHWEST
CONWANY PERTAP41NG TO THE ISSUANCE OF $1,7509000
COMBINATION TAX AND REVENUE CERTIFICATES OF
OBLIGATION, SERIES 1994.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas desires to receive bids
for the purchase of its $1,750,000 Combination Tax and Revenue Certificates of Obligation,
Series 1994; and
WHEREAS, First Southwest Company, Dallas, Texas, has been authorized and request I
to prepare a Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official Bid Form and Official Stateme
containing financial, economic and other data necessary and desirable to attract bids for s 'I
Certificaies; I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THJ
CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are
hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and
expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that this
resolution implements Finance Policy 1 of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element, which states:
:The City will conduct all municipal operation in an efficient business -like manner; and further
finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century
Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Police Plan.
SECTION 2. The attached Notice of Sale and Bidding Instructions, Official BidFo

SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
