I It@ I uMsrl I R91 EQJ 114 W.rit-flial 1 MANN I MA I' 12M NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorpora by erence herein and expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council finds that this resolution implements Environmental & Resource Conservation Policy #1 of the Century Plan -Policy Plan Element, which states ' "The City will take the steps necessary to protect the physical attributes that make Georgetown attractive, and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan. SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute this resolution authorizing the City to submit an application to the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission to become a Clean Cities 2000 Partner on behalf of the City of Georgetown.
