were SvvOOl. Gary Beve[S invoked The Rule. Attorney for the City, Gina Williams, asked that
Fire Chief Anthony Lincoln be allowed to remain in the room during the proceedings as a party
Fep[8SeOt8UYe for the City. Motion by 8O8||, GeCOOd by E8SOD to invoke The RU|B but Q||Ow
Chief LiOCO|D to [8DO@in as G representative of the City. Approved 6~0. All other witnesses |8ft
the room.

Motion by Eason, second by Noble to deny the City staff's decision to terminate this employee on
the grounds that the process was not thorough and immediate, and therefore this employee
Sh0U|d be reinstated.
Motion by Snell, second by Sansing to amend the previous motion to add that the reason for the
decision is because of the vaguenes of the language in City of Georgetown Personnel Policy No.
410. Amendment approved 6-0'
Noble explained that he feels that the iDt8[O@l affairs investigation and h3O0iO@tk}D ShOU|d have
occurred at the time of the incident and not two years later and that is the reason he is voting
the way he is.
