A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN AN
ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE AND AGREEMENT BETWEEN PILOT'S
CHOICE AVIATION, INC., AND BETH ANN JENKINS, AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown did enter into a Lease Agreement for certain Airport
property with Precision Airmotive, Inc., on November 23, 1981; and,
WHEREAS, this Lease Agreement was assigned to Pilot's Choice Aviation, Inc., on
November 1, 1989; and,
WHEREAS, Pilot's Choice Aviation, Inc., leased an additional 23,000 square feet of Airport
property adjacent to the leasehold on December 1, 1993, from the City of Georgetown as
evidenced by an Addendum to Lease Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, Pilot's Choice Aviation, Inc., desires to assign the Lease and Addendum to
Lease Agreement to Beth Ann Jenkins who will sub -lease to Pilot's Choice Aviation, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, Beth Ann Jenkins desires the right to pledge the leasehold interest as security
for a loan made by City National Bank of Taylor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are
found to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a part
hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that this ordinance implements the
following policies of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element:
1. Economic Development Policy End 1.0, which states,"Georgetown's economy is
self-sustaining through diversified growth, a broad tax base with minimal impact
from economic fluctuation, enhanced business opportunity and job creation."
2. Transportation Policy End 12.0, which states, "Georgetown's transportation system
provides for the safe and efficient movement of traffic, promotes the economic
interests of the community, and adequately serves the needs of individuals."
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Secretary to attest
thereto the Lease Assignment and Agreement between Pilot's Choice Aviation, Inc (Assignor),
and Beth Ann Jenkins (Assignee) on behalf of the City of Georgetown.

Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
