The city of Georgetown is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A Call to Order —A Special Meeting of the City Council - - CANVASS of May 10, 2014 ELECTION AND SWEARING IN CEREMONY Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:30PM. Gonzalez absent. B Discussion and possible action to approve a resolution canvassing the votes for the May 10, 2014 General Election, declaring the results to be official — Jessica Brettle, City Secretary Brettle described the item for the Council and read the final vote tally for the May 10, 2014 General Election. She said a copy of the official vote tabulation has been provided to the Council. She added the results of the election will be official after the approval of the Resolution. Motion by Gonzalez, second by Eason to approve the Resolution. Approved 6-0 (Gonzalez absent) C Swearing in of unopposed candidate for District 2, Keith Brainard — Jessica Brettle, City Secretary Brainard was administered the Oath of Office by County Judge Doug Arnold.
