NAME TO THE GEORGETOWN CORP.
WHEREAS, Sec. 18 of the Development Corporation Act of 1979 allows the City Council
to amend the Articles of Incorporation of the Georgetown 413, Inc.;
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it appropriate to change the name of the corporation to
the Georgetown Enrichment Corp.;
WHEREAS, approval by a majority of the City Council is needed in order to approve this
name change;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF

SECTION 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this ordinance are
hereby found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and
expressly made a part hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that this
resolution implements Economic Development Policy 1.0 of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element,
which states: "Georgetown's economy is self-sustaining through diversified growth, a broad tax base
with minimal impact from economic fluctuation, enhanced business opportunity and job creation "; and
further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century
Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan.
SECTION 2. The Articles of Amendment to the Articles of Incorporation of Georgetown
4B, Inc., attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, is hereby approved. The Mayor is
hereby authorized to sign and the City Secretary to attest thereto in triplicate originals the said articles
of amendment. The City Manager is hereby directed to deliver said articles of amendment to the
Secretary of State for the State of Texas, as required by § 19 of the Development Corporation Act
of 1979.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and the City Secretary to attest
thereto this resolution.

SECTION 4. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
