A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS TO INCLUDE 20.18 ACRES OF REAL
PROPERTY INTO THE GEORGETOWN VILLAGE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 91; MAKING FINDINGS AS TO THE
ADVISABILITY, NATURE, ESTIMATED COSTS AND METHOD OF
ASSESSMENT WITHIN SAID PROPERTY; AND ESTABLISHING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 372 of the Texas Local Government Code (the
"Act") authorizes the City of Georgetown, Texas ("City") to create
public improvement districts; and
WHEREAS, on February 23rd, 1999, the City adopted Resolution
No. 99023-N, which created the Georgetown Village Public
Improvement District #1 (the "District"); and
WHEREAS, on April 13, 1999, the City adopted Ordinance No.
99-22, which levied assessment for the costs and maintenance of
certain improvements within the PID; and
WHEREAS, on 21s'-- of March, 2001, owners of real property
("Property") submitted a Petition for Inclusion of Property within
the Georgetown Village Public Improvement District #1, the
boundaries of the Property being described by metes and bounds in
Exhibit "A", attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, after providing all notices required by the Act,
the City Council on May 8, 2001, conducted a public hearing on the
advisability of the inclusion of the Property within the PID; NOW

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN,
TEXAS, THAT:

The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this
resolution are hereby found and declared to be true and correct,
and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly made a part
hereof, as if copied verbatim. The City Council hereby finds that
this resolution implements the following Century Plan Elements:
1. Growth & Physical Development Policy 7.0 of the Century
Plan - Policy Plan Element, which states: "Georgetown's
land uses support economic, cultural and social
activities for all residents, businesses and
organizations; and the City's development process
encourages new and infill development"; and
2. Finance Policy 5.0 of the Century Plan - Policy Plan
Element, which states; "All municipal operations are
conducted in an efficient business-like manner and
sufficient financial resources for both short-term and
long-term needs are provided.";
and further finds that the adoption of this resolution is not
inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies,
as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the
Policy Plan.

The City Council of the City of Georgetown Village hereby
makes the following findings and declarations regarding the
Georgetown Village Public Improvement District No. 1:
1. It is advisable to include the Property as described in
Exhibit "All within the Georgetown Village Public
Improvement District #1.
2. The nature of the improvements within the Property are
the acquisition, construction, operation, repair and

maintenance of parks, recreational facilities, alleyways,
lighting, landscaping and related improvements.
3. The estimated annual costs of the improvements within the
Property are $85,426.00.
4. The method of assessment shall be based upon the annual,
assessed value of each lot within the Property. The
proposed assessment shall be $0.20 per $100.00 valuation.
A one-time Capital Improvement Assessment of $1,000 per
lot is payable in full upon recordation of the final
subdivision plat.
5. The total costs of the operation, maintenance and
construction of the improvements shall be borne by the
Property owners. The City of Georgetown, Texas shall
incur no costs associated within the District.
III.
The Property is hereby included within the Georgetown Village
Public Improvement District #1, and all prior actions taken by the
City pertaining to the PID shall apply to the Property.
IV.
This resolution shall be effective upon publication pursuant
to Chapter 372.010(b) of the Texas Local Government Code.
