A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS APPOINTING MEMBERS AND
ALTERNATES TO THE GEORGETOWN VILLAGE PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 ADVISORY BOARD; AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on September 15, 1998, a petition was filed for the creation of the Georgetown
Village Public Improvement District No. I for the purpose of providing a mechanism to maintain
certain common improvements and amenities through assessments, and said petition
contemplated the management of the district by a board of seven (7) members; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution, the City Council granted the Petition for the improvement
district and convened an advisory board consisting of five (5) members to assist in the evaluation
of the proposed improvement district, including preparation of the Service and Assessment Plan
and the amount of the assessment to be levied; and
WHEREAS, the Georgetown City Code of Ordinances Section 2.115, "GEORGETOWN
VILLAGE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 ADVISORY BOARD," provides for a
Board membership of seven members including five resident homeowner members and two
development members and up to three alternates; and
WHEREAS, the Board has recommended to the City Council that the resident board member
to be appointed is Mark Booras and that the resident board member alternates to be appointed are
Melinda Penniman Marler and Phillip Hardy as shown in Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the public's best interest to make the
appointments as recommended by the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby
found and declared to be true and correct, and are incorporated by reference
herein and expressly made a part hereof as if copied verbatim.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Georgetown hereby makes the following appointments
to the Georgetown Village Public Improvement District No. 1 Advisory Board, and
such appointments shall be effective in accordance with the Georgetown Village
Public Improvement District No. 1 Advisory Board Governing Rules:

Section 3. These members will be appointed to two year terms in accordance with the governing rules
of the Georgetown Village Public Improvement District #l.
Section 4. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and the members of
the Georgetown Village Public Improvement District #1 shall be as follows:
Resident Board Members: Jill Fussell, Mary Drake, Michael Ashley, Vincent Uthoff,
Mark Booras
Developer Board Members: William Weber, Alex Hayes
Resident Board Member Alternates: Jack Alley, Melinda Penniman Marler and
Phillip Hardy

RE: Georgetown Village Public Improvement District No. 1 — Nomination of Board Members
Dear Mayor Garver,
The Board of Directors of the Georgetown Village Public Improvement District No. 1 (PID) has nominated
the following individuals to serve as Board Members and as Alternate Board Members in accordance with
Governing Rules of the PID (Governing Rules):
To the Board of Directors as Board Members,
Mark Booras — Current Alternate Board Member
As Alternate Board Members,
Phillip Hardy — Resident of Georgetown' Village whose address is 1003 Briley Street
We respectfully request that the Georgetown City Council appoint these individuals to 2-year terms as
Members of the Board of Directors and as Alternate Board Members, pursuant to the Board's nomination
and in accordance with the Governing Rules.
Currently, the PID Board comprises six (6) members, including the "Shell Members" (Developer
Member(s)). We are the following.
Jill Fussell, Resident "GV Board Member" and President of the PID;
Mary Drake, Resident "GV Board Member" and Vice President of the PID;
Alex Hayes, of Green Builders Inc. and Developer Member, and Treasurer of the PID;
William Weber, of Green Builders Inc. and Developer Member;
Michael Ashley, Resident "GV Board Member";
Vincent Uthoff, Resident "GV Board Member ";
and
Mark Booras, Resident "GV Alternate Board Member";
Jack Alley, Resident "GV Alternate Board Member" and Secretary of the PH).
With the appointment of Mr. Booras to the Board, the PID will then have a full complement of seven (7)
Board Members in accordance with the Governing Rules.
With the appointments of Ms. Marler and Mr. Hardy as Alternate Board Members, the PID will have the
fall complement of three (3) Alternate Board Members.
