The Animal Shelter Advisory Board of the City of Georgetown, Texas, met on Thursday , November 18,
2010.
Members Present:
Christy Hullum, Chair, Keith Fruge, Secretary, Mike Simpson, Mary Treuter, Patty Eason
and Jackie Carey

Regular Meeting
Meeting called to order at 6:07 p.m. by Christy Hullum.
1. Citizens comments – None
2. Approval of minutes from the October advisory board meeting – The October minutes were
approved unanimously.
3. Animal Services statistical and analytical report for September, 2010 – Jackie Carey discussed
the reports for October, 2010. Of note is the large number of cat intakes recently. The causes for this are
still being determined by shelter staff.
4. Review and possible action about to change or add to shelter statistics report – Jackie Carey
presented a modified version of the statistical and analytical report and it was well received by the board.
Major changes involved reducing repetitious entries and moving items into logical groupings. She also
presented examples of roll-up statistics in graphical form which was also well received and the plan is to
continue improving the reporting of shelter statistics.
