WHEREASt the year 1986 marks the Sesquicentennial
Anniversary of the state of Texas, and
WHEREASt by resolution of the City Council of Georgetow
Texas, on July 10, 1984, the Georgetown Sesquicentennia
Committee was formed to prepare for the celebration of suc
anniversary in and by the City of Georgetown and its citizenis

WHEREAS, the Georgetown Sesquicentennial Committee did ado
a master plan for such celebration and which includes therein
proposed revitalization, repair, replacement improvement anot
enhancementof certain sidewalks, curbs, streets, gutters, •.. •
alleyways, lighting and landscaping and other appurtenances i

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDAINED that the City Council
of the City of Georgetownt Texas, does hereby authorize and
approve the Georgetown Sesquicentennial Committee as an agency of
the City of Georgetown, Texas, adopts the master plan of such
