DISTRICT MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE. TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, as application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of changing the zoning district classification
of the following described real estate from a RS Residential
Single Family District, to a RM -3 Residential Multiple
Family District zoning classification; said property being
more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Part of Lots 1, 2, 3 and all of Lots 4, 5, 6, 71 8 Block 22 Revised City
of Georgetown Map as recorded in Vol. 26, Page 321,
or the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas; and which
property is more fully described on the attached Exhibit "A" "g
WHEREAS, the applicant for such zoning change has requested
of said City that such change of zoning district classification
be made subject to the following conditions:
1. That the City will grant such special exceptions from
the Zoning Ordinance as required to allow building over
internal lot lines,
2. That the owner of the property referenced above will
cooperate with the Planning Department in implementing
the concept of creating a public pedestrian accessway
through or adjacent to this property,
3. That the Owner agrees to submit a site plan for approval
by City Council prior to application for building permit,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change
in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission
for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to
the Zoning Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing
same in a weekly newspaper in the City of Georgetown, Texas, which
notice stated the time and place of hearing and which time was not
earlier than fifteen days from the first day of such publication;
and
WHEREAS, written notice was given not less than fifteen (15)
days before the date set for the meeting before the Planning and
Zoning Commission, to all the owners of the lots within 200 feet
of the above described property, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the applicant for such zoning change placed on the
property for which such change is applied such sign(s) as required
by law for advertising the Planning and Zoning Commission hearing,
not less than fifteen (15) days before the date set for said
hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission in a meeting
held on November 5 , 19 85 , recommended the changing of
said Zoning District Classification as provided in the Zoning
Ordinance on the above described property from a RS Single Family
to a RM -3 Residential Multiple Family District Zoning Classification,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Georgetown, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning
Map of the City of Georgetown, as well as the Zoning District
Classification of said property, be amended so that the property
described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from
RS Single Family District to RM -3 Residential Multiple Family
District Zoning Classification.
