AND ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS FOR THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN PURSUANT TO SECTION 5.03 - ADMINISTRATIVE
DEPARTMENTS OF THE HOME RULE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN
ADOPTED FEBRUARY 9, 1970
WHEREAS, Section 5.03 - ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENTS - of the
Home Rule Charter of the City of Georgetown adopted February 9,
1970, provides for the establishment of administrative
departments by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, there are departments of the City of Georgetown
required and necessary for the orderly conduct of business of
said City; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN that there are hereby established the following
administrative divisions of the City of Georgetown.
Finance and Administration Division
Community Development and Planning Division
Fire Division
Police Division
Public Works Division
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED THAT pursuant to article 5.05 -
DEPARTMENTAL ORGANIZATION - the City Manager is hereby authorize
to divide each divisions into such departments asmaybe
necessary.
All ordinances heretofore passed, adopted and made which are
in conflict with this Ordinance shall be and the same are hereby
in all things repealed.
READ, PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading this _ day of
April, 1985.

Gentlemen:
A rule of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, under which we operate,
requires that we advise you in writing of our intention to bid for our own
account or with others for your $9,000,000 Utility System Revenue Bonds,
Series 1985 and that we have your written consent to do so.
Our Financial Advisory Agreement, the Notice of Sale and the Official State-
ment to be mailed to prospective bidders and purchasers of your Bonds shall
state:
First Southwest Company is employed as Financial Advisor to the City in
connection with the issuance of the Bonds. The Financial Advisor's fee
for services rendered with respect to the sale or the.Bonds is contin-
gent upon the issuance and delivery of the Bonds. First Southwest
Company may submit a bid for the Bonds, either independently or as a
member of a syndicate organized to submit a bid for the Bonds.
It would be appreciated if you would indicate your approval by signing this
letter in the space provided below:
