AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, ON THE 12TH DAY
OF FEBRUARY, 1968, AMENDING A PART OF THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF
THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE THE PROPERTY OF Greenhill
Oil Company IN THE N. Porter SURVEY
ABSTRACT NO, 497 IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, FROM C-1
(Local Commercial) DISTRICT TO C-2-A (Commercial
First Height) DISTRICT AS HERE

BE IT ORDAINED By THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of
changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate:
BEING o.455 acres in the N. Porter Survey,
Abstract No. 497, part of 1.458 acres described
as Tract 2 from Addie V. Parker to J.T. Parker,
Vol. 580, Page 71 Deed of Records of Williamson

morevfuify-described in attached field notes - Exhibit "A".
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning
Ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recam-endation and report; and,
WHEREAS. the City Council, before adopting this amendment to the Zoning Ordinance,
gave notice of such hearing by publishing same in a weekly newspaper in the City of
Georgetown, Texas which notice stated the time and place of hearing and which time
was not earlier than fifteen days from the first day of such publication, and,
WHEREAS, written notice as given to all the owners of the lots within 200 feet
of the above described property as required by law, and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended the changing of said Zoning
Ordinance on the above described property from C -1 (L o cal C o mm e r i a _)
District to C- 2- A (Commercial, First e i gb) District

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Georgetown,
Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Georgetown, be
amended so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby removed
from C-1 (Local Commercial) District to C - 2 - A
(Commercial First Height) District.

BEGINNING at an iron stake marking the most northerly corner of the sail
1.458 acre tract, said point being can the West R.O.W. line of R.M.
Highway No. 2338, this point is also the Southeast corner of a 0.387
acre tract conveyed by J.T. Parker, Jr., to Donald E. Parker, Deed of
record in Vo® 522, Page 339 of the Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas;
THENCE S 330 51' E, 154.64 feet along the East boundary line hereof in
the West R.O.W. line of R.M. Highway No. 2338 to a point where the North
margin of River Bend Dr. intersects the said R.O.W. line of R.M. Highway
No. 2338;
THENCE S 770 12' W, 144.80 feet along the North margin of River Bend Dr.
to a point for the Southwest corner hereof, said point being the South-
east corner of Lot 5, Block 11 of Quail Meadows Unit III, a subdivision
of record in Cab. C, Slide 198-199 of the Plat Records of Williamson
County, Texas;
THENCE N 330 48' W, 139.27 feet along the East boundary line of Lot 5,
