AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING ALL OF THE SECTION OF
AN UNNAMED STREET THAT EXTENDS FROM WILLIAMS DRIVE NORTHWARD
A DISTANCE OF 140' AS SHOWN ON EXHIBIT 11A", IN THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Dale Shanklin, and Benny
Drager, being all of the abutting owners of land to that portion of an
unnamed street that extends from Williams Drive Northward for a distance of
140', as shown on exhibit "A" attached hereto, in the City of Georgetown,
Williamson County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the petition states that it would be beneficial to said
petitioners to have such street adjoining their property vacating and
abandonment of the street only and in no way a request that the City of
Georgetown abandon any other rights in the property:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, that that section of An unamed street that extents from
Williams Drive Northward a distance of 140' as shown on exhibit "A"
attached hereto in Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, and being more
particularly described as follows:
Description: of property to be abandoned placed here.
Exhibit "A" attached hereto,*
is hereby vacated, closed and abandoned except that the City of Georgetown
reserves unto itself, its successors and assigns all other rights which it
has in said
property including
the right to install, maintain,
repair,
replace, or
remove any water,
sewer, electric and other utility
lines
and appurtenances on, under, across, and over said described tract.
