AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
ON THE 12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1968, AMENDING APART OF THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE, TO CHANGE
LOTS THREE, FOUR, AND FIVE, BLOCK ONE, WILLIAMS ADDITION
UNIT ONE IN THE NICHOLAS PORTER SURVEY ABSTRACT NO. 497, IN
THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, FROM R -S RESIDENTIAL SINGLE
FAMILY DISTRICT TO R -O RESIDENTIAL OFFICE DISTRICT ZONING
CLASSIFICATION WITH RESTRICTIONS AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of changing the zoning district classification of
the following described real property.
Lots 3, 4, and 5. Block 1, Williams Addition Unit One,
recorded in Cabinet A Slides 284-285, of the Plat Records of
Williamson County, Texas; located at 1615, 1617, and 1619
Williams Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Ordinance provides that such change of
zoning district classification to R -O shall be made conditional
upon conformance to a site plan, such as the site plan attached
hereto as Exhibit A. and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change
in the Zoning Ordinance to the Planning and Zoning Commission for
its recommendation and reports and
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to
the Zoning Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing
same in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Georgetown, Texas, which notice stated the time and place of
hearing and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the
first day of such publication; and
WHEREAS, written notice was given not less than fifteen (15)
days 'before the date set for the meeting before the Planning and
Zoning Commission, to all the owners of the lots within 200 feet
of the above described property, as required by law, and

WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission in a
meeting held on July 7, 1987, recommended the changing of said
zoning district classification as ,provided in the Zoning
Ordinance on the above described real property from an R -S
RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-FAMILY District to R -O RESIDENTIAL OFFICE
District zoning classification conditional upon conformance to
the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit A;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas*
That the Zoning Ordinance, and. the Zoning Map of the City of
Georgetown, as well as the Zoning District for the property de-
scribed above as Lots 3, 4, and 5, Block 1, Williams Addition
Unit One, recorded in Cabinet A Slide 284-285, of the Plat
Records of Williamson County, Texas, shall be and the same is
hereby changed from the R -S RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY District to
R -O RESIDENTIAL OFFICE District classification.
