ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
ON THE 12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1968, AMENDING A PART OF THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE, TO CHANGE
LOT 19, BLOCK A, RIVER HILLS SECTION ONE IN THE J.PULSIFER
SURVEY ABSTRACT NO. 498, IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
FROM THE R -S RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO THE
C-1 LOCAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT ZONING CLASSIFICATION, AS
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of changing the zoning district classification of
the following described real property°
Lot 19, Block A, River Hills Section One, a subdivision of
record by plat in Cabinet D, Slide 304-306, of the Official Plat
Records of Williamson County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, written notice was given not less than fifteen (15)
days before the date set for the meeting before the Planning and
Zoning Commission, to all the owners of the lots within 200 feet
of the above described property, as required by law; and
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS, the City
Council
has submitted the proposed change
in
the Zoning Ordinance
to the
Planning and Zoning Commission for
its
recommendation and
report;
and
than fifteen (15)
WHEREAS, the City
Council,
before adopting this amendment to
the
Zoning Ordinance, gave
notice of such hearing by publishing
same in a newspaper of
general
circulation in the City of George-
town,
Texas, which notice
stated the time and place of hearing
and
which time was not
earlier
than fifteen days from the first
day
of such publication;
and
WHEREAS, written notice was given not less than fifteen (15)
days before the date set for the meeting before the Planning and
Zoning Commission, to all the owners of the lots within 200 feet
of the above described property, as required by law; and
WHEREAS,
the
applicant for such zoning change placed on the
property for
which
such change is
applied such sign(s) as re-
quired by law for
advertising the
Planning and Zoning Commission
hearing, not
less
than fifteen (15)
days before the date set for
said hearing;
and

WHEREAS, the City
Planning and Zoning
Commission in a
meeting
held on August
4, 1987, recommended
the changing of said
zoning
district classifications provided in
the Zoning Ordinance
on the
above described
LOT 19 from the R -S
RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-
FAMILY
District to C-1
LOCAL COMMERCIAL District
zoning classifi-
cation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas:
That the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map of the City of
Georgetown, as well as the Zoning District for the property de-
scribed above as Lot 19, Block A, River Hills Section One, a
subdivision of record by plat in Cabinet D, Slide 304-306, of the
Official Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, shall be and
the same is hereby changed from the R -S RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY
District to the C-1 LOCAL COMMERCIAL District classification.
READ first on this 25th day of August, 1987.
READ, passed, and adopted this 8 day of Sept.,
1987, on the second and final reading.
