1987 concerning such proposed budget; and such hearing was held on that date,
where all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard for or
against any item or amount there; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown is of the opinion that the
Proposed Budget should be approved and adopted as the City's Budget for the
ensuing fiscal year.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN:
SECTION
1. The Proposed Budget of the revenues of the City of
Georgetown
and
expenses
of conducting the affairs thereof, providing a financial
plan for
the
ensuing
fiscal year beginning September I, 1987 and ending August
31, 1988,
as
submitted
to the City Council by the City Manager of said city,
be, and
the
same is
in all things adopted and approved as the budget
of the current

SECTION
2.
That
the sum
of
$3,633,359
is
hereby appropriated
out of
the
General
Fund
for
payment
of
expenditures
and
transfers out of
the
General
Fund.
SECTION 3. That the sum of $517,165 is hereby appropriated out of the Interest
and Sinking Fund for the purpose of paying the interest and principal due on
General Obligation Debt.
SECTION 4. That the sum of $14,162,820 is hereby appropriated out of the
Utility Fund for the payment of expenditures and transfers out of the Utility
Fund.

SECTION 5. That the sum of $1,579,144 is hereby appropriated out of the
Interest and Sinking Fund for the purpose of paying the accrued interest and
making the principal payment as the same mature on the Utility System Revenue
Debt.
SECTION 6.
That the sum of
$885,024 is hereby
appropriated out of the Airport
Fund for
the payment of
expenditures and
transfers out of the Georgetown
Municipal
Airport Fund.

SECTION 8. That the sum of $648,000 is hereby appropriated out of the General
Capital Projects Fund for the payment of expenditures of the General Capital
Project Fund.
SECTION 10. That the sum of $7,770,504 is hereby appropriated out of the
Utility Capital Projects Fund for payment of expenditures and transfers out of
the Utility Capital Project Funds.
SECTION 11. All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION= 12. If any section, paragraph,
clause, phrase, or
provision of this
Ordinance shall be adjudged
invalid or held
unconstitutional,
the same shall
not affect the validity of
this Ordinance
as a whole or any
part or provision
thereof other than the part
so declared to
be invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 13.
This
ordinance
shall become
effective
upon adoption
of its second
and final
reading
by the City
Council of
the City
of Georgetown,
Texas.
