WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Texas,
desires to promote the public health, safety, morals, and welfare
of the community& and

Commission to act as an advisory ry body to the City Council and t
perform such additional duties and exercise such additional
carers as may be prescribed by ordinance of the Council not-

That Section 19-3 of the Code of the City of Georgetown,
Texas is amended to add the following passage, td read as follows:
(9) To function
as the
City Zoning
Commission
and exercise
all
of those
powers
and duties
permitted
by (Article

statutes
of the State
of Texas,
the City
Charter and
Cit or

time to

This Ordinance shall be effective on the date in which it is
read, passed and approved on the second and final reading and
