AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
ON THE 12TH DAY OF FEBRUARY 1968, AMENDING A PART OF THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE, TO CHANGE
LOTS 3 & 4 BLOCK 5 GLASSCOCK ADDITION IN THE Co STUBBLEFIELD
SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 558, IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS,
FROM THE R -S RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO
THE RM -2 DENSE MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT ZONING
CLASSIFICATION, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH*
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of changing the zoning district classification of
the following described real property:
Lots 3
and 4 Block
5 Glasscock
Addition of the City of
Georgetown,
Williamson
County, Texas;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change
in the Zoning Ordinance to the Planning and Zoning Commission for
its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to
the Zoning Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing
same in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of George-
town, Texas, which notice stated the time and place of hearing
and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first
day of such publication; and
WHEREAS, written notice was given not less than fifteen (15)
days before the date set for the meeting before the Planning and
Zoning Commission, to all the owners of the lots within 200 feet
of the above described property, as required by law; and

WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission in a meet-
ing held on March 1, 1988, recommended the changing of said
zoning district classifications provided in the Zoning Ordinance
on the above described property from the R -S RESIDENTIAL SINGLE-
FAMILY District to the RM -2 Dense Multi -Family Residential Dis-
trict zoning classification;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas*

Section One. All of the facts recited in the preamble to
this ordinance are hereby found by the Council to be true and
correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly
made a part hereof, as if copied herein verbatim,
Section Two. That the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map
of the City of Georgetown, as well as the Zoning District for the
property described above Lots 3 and 4 Block 5 Glasscock Addition
of the City of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, is hereby
changed from the R -S RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY District to the
RM -2 DENSE MULTI -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL District classification.
