AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS
ON THE 12TH DAY OF 'FEBRUARY 1968,,AMENDING A PART OF THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP OF THE 'ORIGINAL 'ORDINANCE, TO CHANGE
RIVER RIDGE SECTION 3-A BLOCK T LOTS 2 & 3 AND BLOCK`S LOTS
7 & 8 IN THE C. STUBBLEFIELD SURVEY ABSTRACT NO. 558, IN
THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, FROM THE R -S RESIDENTIAL
SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO RM -2 RESIDENTIAL MULTI -FAMILY
DISTRICT ZONING CLASSIFICATION, AND AMENDING A PART OF THE

558,; IN THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, FROM THE R -S
RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT TO RM -1 RESIDENTIAL
MULTI -FAMILY DISTRICT ZONING; CLASSIFICATION, AS HEREINAFTER
SET 'FORTH.•
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of changing the zoning district classification of
the following described real property:
River Ridge Section 3-A Block T Lots 2 & 3 and Block S
Lots '7 & 8 and Block T Lots 1 & 4-18 and Block S Lots 1-6, 9 &
10; a subdivision of record by plat in Cabinet

of the Official Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, and
WHEREAS, 'the 'City Council has submitted the proposed change
in the Zoning Ordinance to the Planning and Zoning Commission for
its recommendation and report, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, before adopting this amendment to
the Zoning Ordinance, gave notice of such hearing by publishing
same in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of George-
town, Texas, which notice stated the time and place of hearing
and which time was not earlier than fifteen days from the first
day of such publication; and
WHEREAS, written 'notice was given not less than fifteen. (15)
days before the date set for the meeting before the Planning and
Zoning Commission, to all the owners of the lots within 200 feet
of the above described property, as required by lawi and
WHEREAS, the applicant for such zoning change placed on the
property for which such change is applied such sign(s) as re-
quired by law for advertising the Planning and Zoning Commission
hearing, not less than fifteen (15) days before the date set for
said `,hearing; and

WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission in a meet-
ing held on January 7, 1986, recommended the changing of said
zoning district classifications provided in the Zoning Ordinance
on the above described River Ridge Subdivision from the R-S
RESIDENTIAL SINGLE -FAMILY District to the RM-2 RESIDENTIAL
MULTI-FAMILY District 'zoning classification and from the R®S
RESIDENTIAL SINGLE -FAMILY District to the RM-1 RESIDENTIAL
MULTI-FAMILY District zoning classification;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Georgetown, Texas:
Section One. All of the facts recited in the preamble to
this ordinance are hereby 'found by the Council to be true and
correct, and are incorporated by reference herein and expressly
made a part hereof, as if copied 'herein verbatim,
Section Two. That the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map
of the City of Georgetown, as well as the Zoning District for the
property described above as River Ridge Section. 3-A Block T Lots
2 & 3 and Block S Lots 7 & 8r a subdivision of record by plat in
Cabinet _ j ,Tide 36-.�J,of the Official Plat Records of William-
son County, Texas, is hereby changed from the R-S RESIDENTIAL
SINGLE FAMILY District to the RM-2 RESIDENTIAL MULTI-FAMILY
District classification and River Ridge Section 3-A Block T
Lots 1 & 4-18 and ,Block S Lots 1-6, 9 & 10s a subdivision of
record by, plat in Cabinet _, Slide '_-i of the Official Plat
Records of Williamson County, Texas, is hereby changed from the
R-S RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FXMILY District to the RM-1 RESIDENTIAL
MULTI-FAMILY District classification, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH:
