AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A BUDGET OF THE ENSUING FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING, OCTOBER 1, 1989 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30 19905 IN
ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 689A-13, ET. SEQ. OF THE REVISED
STATUES OF TEXAS AND HOME RULE CHARTER FOR THE CITY OF
GEORGETOWN, TEXAS. APPROPRIATING THE VARIOUS AMOUNTS
THEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH
WHEREAS,
Council

of the City of Georgetown has submitted to the City
("Proposed Budget") of the revenues of said City and
expenses
of conducting the
affairs thereof and providing
complete financial plan
for the ensuing fiscal year,
1990, and which said Proposed
obtained from the several
beginning October 1, 1989,
Budget has been complied from
departments and offices of the
and ending September 30,
detailed information
City; and
WHEREAS,
the City Council has
received
said City Manager's Proposed Budget and
a copy of
such Proposed Budget
and all
supporting schedules have been filed
with the
City Secretary of the
City of
Georgetown; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with article 689A-13 et. seq. of Texas Revised Civil
Statutes, notice was published for a public hearing to be held on August 22,
1989 concerning such proposed budget; and such hearing was held on that date,
where all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard for or
against any item or amount there; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Georgetown is of the opinion that the
Proposed Budget should be approved and adopted as the City's Budget for the
ensuing fiscal year.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN:
SECTION 1.
The Proposed Budget of

City of Georgetown and expenses of

SECTION 2.
That the sum of $ 4,832,686 is hereby appropriated out of the General
Fund for payment of expenditures and transfers out of the General Fund.
SECTION 3.
That the sum of $ 520,945 is hereby appropriated out
and Sinking Fund for the
General Obligation Debt,
purpose of paying the interest
of the Interest
and principal due on
SECTION 4.
That
the
sum
of $ 16,851,108
is hereby
appropriated
out
of
the Utility
Fund
for
the
payment
of expenditures
and
Fund.

Utility
Fund.
SECTION 5.
That the sum of $ 155769224 is hereby appropriated out of the Interest
and Sinking Fund for the purpose of paying the accrued interest and making the
principal payment as the same mature on the Utility System Revenue Debt.
SECTION 6.
That the sum of $ 494,151 is hereby appropriated out of the Airport Fund for
the payment of expenditures and transfers out of the Georgetown Municipal
Airport Fund.
SECTION 7.
That
the
sum
of $ 438,000
is hereby
appropriated out of the
Internal Service
Fund
for
the
payment
of expenditures
of the
Internal
Revenue
Fund.
SECTION 8.
That the sum
of
$ 21478,689
effective upon
is hereby
appropriated out of the
Special
Revenue Fund
for
payments
of
expenditures
of the Special Revenue
Fund,
SECTION 9.
That the sum of
Capital Projects
Project Fund.
SECTION 10.
$ 508,783 is hereby appropriated out of the General
Fund for the payment of expenditures of the General Capital
That the sum of $ 7,087,316 is hereby appropriated out of the Utility Capital
Projects Fund for payment of expenditures and transfers out of the Utility
Capital Project Funds.
SECTION 11.
All ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 12.
If any section, paragraph, clause,
shall be adjudged invalid or held
the validity of this Ordinance as
other than the part so declared to

unconstitutional, the same shall not affect
a whole or any part or provision thereof
be invalid or unconstitutional.

effective upon
