WHEREAS, the City Council on November 28, 1989 by the adoption
of Ordinance 890455 amended the Zoning Ordinance to add regulations
governing the location, design and operation of child care

WHEREAS, the City Council on August 14, 1990 by the adoption
of Ordinance 900374 extended the effect of such regulations for one
year, such that unless subsequent action further extends the
application of the child care facility regulations they shall
expire on August 31, 1991; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council to extend for an
indefinite period the application of the child care facility
regulations as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission on
July 2, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that this action
implements Growth and Physical Development Policy 1 and Health and
Human Services Policy 1 of the Century Plan - Policy Plan, and is
not found to be inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century
Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative
Chapter of the Policy Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Georgetown, Texas that.

and are no longer of any force and effect.
SECTION 4
If any provision of this ordinance or application thereof to
any person or circumstance, shall be held invalid, such invalidity
shall not affect the other provisions, or application thereof, of
this ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of htis
ordinance are hereby declared to be severable.
This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and
effect immediately after its passage on second reading by the City
Council and when duly signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Secretary.
