WHEREAS, Williamson County Cablevision has requested that Ordinance No. 93-38
be repealed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that this is in the best interest of the
City provided, the following conditions are met:
Williamson County Cablevision agrees to waive all public hearing and
publication requirements should they choose to revive cable regulations which are
repealed by this Ordinance and Williamson County Cablevision agrees to provide the
same access to cable channels that exist in Ordinance 93-38 which is being repealed
by this ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. This ordinance is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign this ordinance and the City
Secretary to attest. This ordinance shall become effective upon second reading by the City
Council,
PASSED AND APPROVED on First Reading on the 28th day of June, 1994.
PASSED AND APPROVED on Second Reading on the 12th day of July, 1994.
