The City Council hereby finds that this ordinance implements the following Policy Ends of the Century Plan - Policy Plan Element: 1. Environmental and Resource Conservation End 3.0, which states: "The physical qualities that make Georgetown attractive are protected"; and 2. Growth and Physical Development End 7.2, which states: "Annexation procedures and standards benefit the community" and further finds that the enactment of this ordinance is not inconsistent or in conflict with any other Century Plan Policies, as required by Section 2.03 of the Administrative Chapter of the Policy Plan. SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Georgetown hereby annexes. 13.403 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, IN THE FRANCIS A. HUDSON SURVEY AND X1.5, PATTERSON SURVEY, LOCATED EAST OF PARK CENTRAL BOULEVARD, SOUTH OF COMMERCE BOULEVARD, AND NORTH OF WESTINGHOUSE ROAD, as described in Exhibit A of this ordinance, as shown in B Of this ordinance, which contains the property descriptions for the tracts. Exhibit C contains the service plan. SECTION 4. All ordinances and resolutions, or parts of ordinances and resolutions, in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed, and are no longer of any force and .ffect. SECTION 5. if any provision of this ordinance or application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall be held invalid, such in validity shall not affect the other provisions, or application thereof, of this ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are hereby declared to b se+verw•e. 1 S. ONE, SECTION III Introduction This service plan has been prepared in accordance with Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 43 - Municipal Annexation. This requires that the service plan provide for the extension of full municipal services to the area to be annexed by any of the methods by which it extends services to any other area of the municipality. Police Protection Regular and routine patrolling of streets, responses to calls, and other police services will be provided upon the effective date of the annexation. Fire Protection and Code Enforcement Fire protection and prevention services are currently being provided to the area through an agreement with Williamson County. These services vill continue to be provided to the area upon the effective date of the annexation. Recreation services will be provided to all residents in accordance with the rates, terms and conditions contained in the City Code. Planninq and Zoning Upon the effective date of the annexation, the planning and zoning jurisdiction of the City will extend to this area. The area will be zoned A (Agricultural), unless otherNise approved through regular procedures. Inspection Services All inspection services, including building, electrical, plumbing, etc., provided by the City will be extended to the area upon the effective date of the annexation. Library Services Library ser✓ices will be provided to all residents in accordance with the rates, terms, and conditions contained in the City Code upon the effective date of the annexation. Other Services Cather services provided by the City, such as animal control, court, and general administration, Will be made available upon the effective date of the annexation, in accordance with the City Code and policies.
