ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, i'LTX S,
IJST.ABLISHING A `RAP IC REGISTER (,RECOit
OF ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES PROVIDING FOR THE
MAINTENANCE NCE OF SAID REGIST I BY CUlMEW ENTRIES

The Chief of Police of the City of Georgetown, Tcas, shall hereafter
keep a public record, which shall hereafter be called the 'Traffic Register",
and, same shall contain a record of every specific location in the City where
any traffic control device, marking or special regulation is made applicable,
The City Council has heretofore found that the conditions rerequisite to the
establishing of all spacial traffic regulations herein prescribed and the
installation of all traffic control devices, signs, signals and markings
evidenced by the record thereof in the traffic register existed and such findings
are hereby confirmed and such regulations shall continue in operation until
modified by Ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Texas. the traffic register

Whenever any spacial regulation of traffic becomes expressly not
applicable to a specific location in the city, the record of such location
shall remain in the traffic register, but shall be prominently marked "DELETED"
by the Chief of Police, who shall also note the date of such deletion and tare
authority therefor. All entries made by the said Chief of Police in said
Register shall be made only after same are authorized by the City Council.
The provisions of this Ordinance are severable so that any portion
hereof, which aright be deemed to be void as a matter of law, shall not affect
the validity of any otaeer portion hereof.
DULY APPROVED AND ENACTED this the 24th day of January, A.D. 1966,
at the regular sheeting of the City of Georgetown Council at Georgetown, Texas.
