SAID MES, AND D CURING AN EMERGENCY*
BE IT ORDAINED BY TISK; CITY COU14CIL OF' TIFF CITY OF G ORGFTOW4, TEXAS*
That for the year, 1953, there shall be levied and collected
an advalorem tax of one & 25/100 31*215} dollars, on all property
subject to taxation by said Cavy, under the constitution and laws of
the State of Texas, as per the lst day of January, 1953, and at a tax
rate of one & 25/100 ($11.25) dollars on each one hundred {$100®00}
dollars in. valuation,
That when .he said takes, are collected, the same shall be
applied and paid out as follows:
19 To the General Fund, for the support and maintenance of the
government of the said City 90 dents, of each one & 25/100 dollars,
collected,
2® To the Bond Fund, of that series of the said City known,
as Paving Bonds, 7 cents, of each one & 25,%100 dollars, collected.
3m To the Bond Fund, of that series of bonds of the said City,
known as Street Bonds, 20 cents, of each one & 25/100 dollars, collected,
49 To the Bond Fund, of that series of bonds of the said City
Itnown as Airport Bonds, 8 cants ;of each one & 25/100 dollars, collected®
Tile fact that prompt preparation dust be made for the assessing
and collection of taxes for the gear 1953, oreates' an emergency requir�
ing the reules providing that an ordinance shall be read at three
separate meetings before final passage shall be suspended, and such
rules are here and now suspended and this ordinance passed, and it
is ordered that it take effect from and after its passage,
