ORDINANCE FIXING AND DETERMINING RATES AND
CHARGES .TO BE CHARGED FOR. SALES OF NATURAL GAS
TO RESIDE14TIAL AND COMMERCIAL CONSUMERS WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS OF GEORGETOWNo WILLIAMSON COUNTY,
TEXAS, :PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER IN aICH SUCH
RATES AND CHARGES 14AY BE CHANGED AND At ENDED AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN:
Section le Effective with the first gas furnished on and after
January 1st, 1953, the rates and charges for sales of natural gas and
natural gas service rendered to residential and commercial consumers
within the city limits of Georgetown. by Lone Star Gas Company, a Texas
Corporation, its successors and assigns, are hereby fixed and deter
mined to be as follows:
Minimum Monthly Bill 1900
First 600 cu„ ft. at m17 per c.c.fe grass; $01.53 per c.cmf. net*
All over 600 cue ft, at a7833 per mao*fa gross; ®705 per m*cof, net,
Net rate shall apply to all bills paid within ten days from monthly
billing date®
Except with respect to rates, all charges for na ural gas service
now in effect shall remain in effect unchanged®
The above rates and charges are applicable to ea h residential
and commercial consumer per month or for any part of a mon for which
location*gas is used at the same
SECTION 2a The rates and charges set forth in S(i,Em

SECTION 3. The fact that there is an imperative public need for
an immediate change and adjustment in the rates and charge for gas and
gas service furnished to residential and commercial cons rs creates
an emergency and the reading and passage of this ordinance at three
separate meetings is hereby suspended and this ordinance s all take
effect and be in full force from and after the date of its passage at
a single meeting and the approval thereof by the mayor®
