That: for the year, 1952, there shall be levied and collected an
advalorem tax of one and 25/1,00 $le25) dollars, on all property subject

to taxation by said .ter, under the constitution and laws of the State
of Texas, as per the lst, day of January 1952, and at a ta.x rate of one
and 25/100 {LD1.25} dollars on each one hundred ($>100®00) dollars in valuation.
That when the said taxes, are collected, the; same shall be applied and

of the said City 90 cents, of each: one and 25/100 dollars, collected.
2* To the Bond Fund, of the series of bonds of the said City known as
Paving Bonds,, 7 cents, of each one and 25/1.00 dollars, collected.
30 To the Brand Fund, of that series of bonds of the said City, Imown
as Street Bonds, 20 cents, of each one and '451100 dollars collectede

The fact that prompt preparation must 'be ma.rte for the assessing and
collection of taxes for the year 1952, creates an emergency requiring the
rules providing that an ordinance shall, be read at three separate; meetinC;s before � }}
final passages shall be suspended,, and such rules are here and now suspended and
this ordinance passed:, and it is ordered that 1t take effect from and after
its passage.
